Well we’re all checked in. Nurses as per usual are great. I have a room with a River view and in the distance I can see the Brooklyn bridge. They told me that as soon as the corner room open up they’ll move me so in the interim I’m-here .So of course I’ve-made the best of it!! Michael hooked up a roku stick so i I can watch anything I want . It was no easy as the tv in the room is mounted tight to the wall but we but we Jerry rigged the system .Then i moved all the furniture in the room so the bed is no longer under drafty vents but in the corner by the window.

tonights adventure is my first chemo. It’s ethanol based so they told me I’ll probably feel drunk - no drunk texting for me!! In the meantime I’m still afflicted with a cough and sputum. Yuck. And finished my lovely hospital dinner of tuna fish salad (no actual salad involved as that’s a no no) and chicken soup. I passed on dessert as I’m about to take a cup full of pills.
