Mass-ive Update

That’s right; this update is about the mass in my chest. I was hoping to share pictures but they’re not available yet :(. I was scheduled for a pt scan on Tuesday that didn’t happen because....,well insurance denied it and my doctor could not convince them it was medically necessary so Wednesday I had a ct scan; dr ordered chest, abdomen and pelvis; insurance only agreed to chest so i paid for the rest. Only good news today, the mass in my chest shrunk substantially. I’m on my way to getting this literally off my chest! I still have to do three more treatments but I’ll be done with my last round after April 7! Hurrah!

The ct scan did show a little blip in my uterus; but dr is not concerned 1) because it didn’t light on my original pt scan and 2) because of the chemo I’m getting it can’t possibly be anything. We’ll know more after the last treatment when i finally do get another pt scan.

So for today good news; and I’m hooked back on my death and destruction machine for cycle four. Another good piece of news is that the treatments will be the same going forward so no increased dosage. Looking forward to finishing now that I know this shit is working. Only 21 days till round 5 and 42 days to round 6. It will fly! Mom I know you are watching over this and helping to push me forward everyday.
